Cameroun, NOUS sommes prêts pour la démocratie
Le principal enseignement de la dernière émission de Sibikan Media sur le Cameroun est qu’Issa Tchiroma est à la fois un acteur et un observateur central de l’histoire politique contemporaine du pays. Il incarne une figure emblématique d’une transition politique inspirante qui marque un tournant historique dans la vie politique camerounaise.

Les Camerounais sont désormais prêts à reconstruire ce processus par le dialogue entre citoyens responsables, avec le soutien de la société civile et des tierces indépendants.
En réalité, déléguer une part de la paix sociale revient à reconnaître qu’elle n’appartient plus exclusivement aux pouvoirs publics, mais qu’elle repose sur la maturité civique dont ont fait preuve les citoyens camerounais lors de la dernière élection présidentielle du 12 octobre 2025, ainsi que leur capacité à résoudre leurs différends ensemble. C’est pourquoi la tentation de faire de la victoire de Tchiroma un signal fort d’émancipation pour tout le pays n’est pas une simple projection naïve et étriquée.
En effet, la politique est l’art du possible, et après 43 ans de pouvoir absolu, le Cameroun est un pays transformé, avec une démographie en constante évolution, une population aguerrie et résiliente, prête au changement et à faire valoir ses droits dans un contexte institutionnel dominé par la privatisation de l’État par un réseau de pouvoir patrimonial, mafieux et clientéliste, usant pour ce faire de la loi du plus fort depuis 43 ans – une situation dont ils sont lassés.
Ils veulent des institutions fortes et la fin des hommes forts.
Parce que précisément la victoire d’Issa Tchiroma Bakary à l’élection présidentielle du 12 octobre 2025 au Cameroun est incontestable. Certaines vérités demeurent indélébiles, même face à la propagande mensongère et à la terreur répressive.
À cet égard, la dictature abjecte et sanguinaire de Paul Biya devra désormais s’efforcer de regagner la crédibilité et la respectabilité qu’elle a perdues à jamais.
Elle croupit désormais dans les oubliettes de l’histoire.

In reality, delegating a portion of social peace amounts to recognizing that it no longer belongs exclusively to the public authorities, but that it is built upon the civic maturity demonstrated by Cameroonian citizens in the last presidential election and their ability to resolve their differences together. Thus, this temptation to make Tchiroma’s victory an emancipatory signal for the entire country is not simply a naive and narrow-minded projection.
Indeed, politics is the art of the possible, and after 43 years of absolute power, Cameroon is a transformed country, with a constantly evolving demographic and a seasoned and resilient population ready for change and to assert its rights in an institutional context dominated by the privatization of the state by a patrimonial and clientelist network of power and the law of the strongest for 43 years, a situation they have had enough of.
They want strong institution and no more strongmen.
Thus, the victory of Issa Tchiroma Bakary in the presidential election of October 12, 2025, in Cameroon is undeniable. There are some truths that no amount of mendacious propaganda or repressive terror can erase from collective memory.
On this point, the filthy and bloodthirsty dictatorship of Paul Biya will now have to chase after a credibility and respectability it has lost forever.
It rots in a prominent place in the dustbin of human history.
