Calibri Calibro: Dictature, Sacrifice et la Politique de l’ignorance rationelle
La dernière tentative d’immolation du militant Calibri Calibro devant l’Assemblée nationale française est un acte original et imaginatif qui n’était pas simplement un acte de mort par désespoir. C’est un acte de rébellion contre une expérience sociale ratée qui soulève de manière juste et carrée la question fondamentale du corps politique dans la dictature. En particulier, dans une dictature où le tyran est le souverain de son propre chef et incarne de facto la nation, ne laissant aucune possibilité de pluralisme démocratique.
C’est donc une forme autocratique de pouvoir absolu sans limite par les lois, la constitution et d’autres facteurs politiques. Calibri Calibro remet en question la légitimité même du Nnôm Ngui et la vérité historique face à la propagande répandue, aux mensonges et au révisionnisme historique qui assainissent et désodorisent la violence systémique et l’injustice dans un système politique verrouillé de partout, sans aucune possibilité crédible d’alternance démocratique.
De plus, dans la tyrannie, il n’y a pas de citoyen mais des Homo Sacer. Le philosophe italien Giorgio Agamben définit homo sacer comme une personne qui peut être tuée sans que le tueur ne subisse de conséquences juridiques. Dans une mémorable interview avec Eric Chinje en 1984 assez prémonitoire de ce qu’est devenu le Cameroun, le Nnom Ngui reconnaît devant la nation avoir le pouvoir de la vie et de la mort sur tous les Camerounais. C’est ce qu’Achille Mbembe appelle «nécropolitiques», et que nous appelons l’ethnofascisme qui est un assemblage de multitudes institutions avec de réseaux clientélistes patrimoniaux privatisés pour précisément donner au Nnôm Ngui le pouvoir de décider qui a le droit d’exister et d’achever une domination politique complète à travers des actes de coercition massive et d’exclusion des personnes réputées appartenir à la mauvaise ethnie, au mauvais clan du régime ou à la mauvaise région du pays …en les neutralisant définitivement par des meurtres légalisés et la captation personnelle des ressources du pays.
Voilà comment sont légalisés toutes les caractéristiques arbitraires pour mettre en place des politiques discriminatoires au Cameroun. Pourtant nous sommes forcés à tous prétendre que le président Biya est un démocrate et que nous ne sommes pas des homo sacer. Le CL2P, en tant qu’organisation des droits de l’Homme, ne peut et ne veut pas être dupe de la propagande du régime selon laquelle nous vivons dans une «démocratie apaisée», alors même que nous sommes en fait piégés dans une dystopie politique sans liberté politique.
Ainsi, ce que Calibri Calibro a fait était de nous rappeler notre statut d’homo sacer.
Son sacrifice visait à dénoncer la collusion établie depuis 38 ans entre la persistance d’une dictature sauvage au Cameroun et l’appui multiforme apporté à celle-ci par les différents pouvoirs français depuis François Mitterrand…
Avec désormais une forte suspicion ces derniers mois d’un processus de transition voire de succession dynastique (ce que le Principal opposant Maurice Kamto nomme “la succession de gré-à-gré”) pilotée en secret depuis Paris par les réseaux de la Françafrique, qui pourrait à tout moment placer les millions de Camerounais devant un autre bricolage despotique légal accompli sans leur consentement.
C’est ce qui explique l’acte posé vendredi dernier il y a exactement une semaine devant l’assemblée nationale française par l’activiste Calibri Calibro.
La méthode est critiquable et regrettable, mais elle traduit l’état de désespérance dans lequel se trouvent des générations successives de Camerounais devant une dictature trentenaire qui a des ramifications économiques, sociales et politiques particulièrement inhumaines.

Calibri Calibro: Dictatorship, Sacrifice and the Politics of Rational Ignorance
The last attempt at self-immolation by the activist Calibri Calibro before the French national assembly is an original and imaginative act that was not simply an act of death by despair. It is an act of rebellion against a failed social experiment that raises fair and square the question of political body in dictatorship.
In dictatorship where the tyrant is the sovereign by his own right and therefore the Nnôm Ngui is the nation and there are no possibility of democratic pluralism. An autocratic form of absolute rule unrestricted by laws, constitution and others political factors, therefore, calling into question the legitimacy of the Nnom Ngui and historical truth-telling in the face of widespread propaganda, lies and historical revisionism that sanitize and deodorize systemic violence and injustice in a bottle up political system with no credible possibility of democratic alternative.
What is more, in tyranny, there are no citizen but what the Italian philosopher, Giorgio Agamben, define as homo sacer. The homo sacer is a person that can be killed with the killer not suffering any legal consequences. In a powerful interview with Eric Chinje in 1984, the Nnom Ngui recognizes in front of the nation of having the power of life and death over every single Cameroonians. This is what Achille Mbembe calls “necropolitics” and we call ethnofascism which is a host of institutions and patrimonial clientelist networks that are privatized to give the Nnom Ngui the power to decide who has the right to exist and to achieve political dominance through massive coercion and exclusion of people deemed to be from the wrong ethnicities or wrong part of the country with legalized murders and looting of the nation’s resources. Thus, legalizing arbitrary characteristics to put out into place discriminatory policies.
How, we are all pretending that the president is a democrat and we are not homo sacer. The CL2P, as a human right organization cannot be fooled by the regime’s propaganda that we live in an “appeased democracy” while we are in fact trapped in a political dystopia without political freedom.
Thus, what Calibri Calibro did was to remind us of our status as homo sacer.
His sacrifice meant to denounce the collusion assumed for 38 years between the persistence of a savage dictatorship in Cameroon and the multifaceted support brought to it by the various French powers since François Mitterrand …
What is more, a strong suspicion in recent months of a process of transition or even of dynastic succession piloted in secret from Paris by the networks of Françafrique, which could at any time place the millions of Cameroonians before another despotic legal tinkering accomplished without their consent .
This explains the act taken a week ago before the French national assembly by the activist Calibri Calibro. The method is open to criticism and regrettable, but it reflects the state of despair in which successive generations of Cameroonians find themselves before a thirty-eight dictatorship which has particularly inhuman economic, social and political ramifications.
