En Prenez Vous au Jeu, Pas au Joueur
Nous entendons depuis un certain temps les détracteurs du principal parti d’opposition camerounais demander: “Pourquoi ne tiennent-ils pas leurs meetings au Cameroun? C’est au Cameroun que ça se passe (…) Le VRAI CHANGEMENT… La VRAIE RÉVOLUTION, c’est au Cameroun, etc…”
Toutes ces personnes s’inscrivent volontiers, pour diverses raisons, dans une logique de déni de la répression aveugle qui touche principalement le parti du Pr. Kamto dans ce pays, systématiquement empêché de tenir la moindre réunion publique ou d’organiser des marches.
Rappelons à cet égard que M. Kamto et ses principaux lieutenants sortent à peine de neuf (09) mois de détention arbitraire après avoir comparu devant un tribunal militaire pour entre-autre manifestation non autorisée.
Par ailleurs une partie de la “légitimité” dont se prévaut leur bourreau et geôlier Paul Biya pour s’éterniser au pouvoir depuis 38 ans, tient principalement au soutien qu’il bénéficie de la France où son opposant a tenu son meeting historique samedi 01 février 2020. En plus M. Biya (87 ans) dans son formatage colonial n’infléchit sa répression que sous la pression (amicale) de Paris. Il n’a d’ailleurs pas hésité à littéralement inonder Paris avec des panneaux publicitaires à sa gloire ces derniers temps.
Dès lors pourquoi ferait-on un procès pour “anti-patriotisme” à Kamto parce qu’il aurait tenu lui-aussi un meeting dans la capitale française, avant les deux autres programmés aux États-unis d’Amérique et au Canada???
Les Camerounais épris de liberté et qui aspirent à l’alternance devront mettre un terme aux polémiques stériles entretenant des rivalités personnelles infantiles entre-eux, si effectivement ils veulent réellement débarrasser le Cameroun d’une dictature trentenaire.
Nous tenons à préciser que nous ne sommes nullement des sympathisants du Mouvement pour la Renaissance du Cameroun (MRC), dont certains membres extrémistes n’hésitent pas à nous abreuver littéralement d’injures dès que nous exprimons la moindre critique sur ses orientations politiques ou son organisation.
Nous considérons cela comme le prix à payer pour l’avènement de la démocratie dans un pays qui n’en a pratiquement pas connu depuis soixante (60) ans.
Néanmoins nous reconnaissons simplement que nous ne devrions pas concentrer notre haine sur le gars qui a fait quelque chose mais plutôt sur le système qui lui a donné l’occasion de le faire.
En effet, les politiciens africains se révèlent parfois impitoyables envers leurs camarades et véritablement sociopathes ou psychopathes. Arrêtez d’essayer de les changer et même de les haïr.
Concentrez-vous à changer le système qui les a rendu ainsi!

Do Not Hate the Players, Hate the Game
The CL2P is failing to understand the detractors of the MRC who are complaining about the party holding meeting overseas.
In doing so, all these people are willingly joining, for various reasons, the administrative state of Cameroon’s logic of denial and its indiscriminate repression which mainly affects the party of Pr. Kamto in Cameroon. A systematic repression that consistently prevent the MRC for holding the slightest public meeting in Cameroon.
Let us recall in particular that Mr. Kamto and his main lieutenants have barely spent nine (09) months of arbitrary detention after having appeared before a military court for, among other things, an unauthorized demonstration.
In addition, part of the “legitimacy” which their executioner and jailer Paul Biya takes advantage of, especially for being in power for 38 years, is mainly due to the support he enjoys from France where his opponent held his historic meeting on Saturday 01 February 2020. In addition, Mr. Biya (87 years old) in his colonial repressive mindset only inflected under the (friendly) pressure from Paris. In particular, he has literally inundated Parisians with billboards to his glory in recent days.
Therefore, on what ground can we sue professor Kamto for “antipatriotism.?” Is it because he too would have held a meeting in the French capital, before the other two scheduled in the United States of America and Canada???
Those Cameroonians who are in love with freedom and who aspire to change will have to put an end to these sterile controversies that reduce legitimate political opposition to infantile personal rivalries between Mrs. Kamto and Biya. if indeed they really want to rid Cameroon of a thirty-year dictatorship.
We would like to clarify that we are by no means sympathizers of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC), some extremist members of which do not hesitate to literally water us with insults as soon as we express the slightest criticism of its political orientations or its organization.
We understand that this is the price to pay for the advent of democracy in a country that has hardly known one for sixty (60) years.
We just recognize that we shouldn´t focus our hate on the guy who did something but rather on the system that gave him the opportunity to do so. Indeed, African politicians are ruthless if not sociopathic or psychopathic? Stop trying to change or hate him. We should rather try to change the system that is giving him the chance to do so.
