D’après des universitaires alimentaires de la satrapie camerounaise, Kim Jon Biya serait donc « un patrimoine » à préserver au même titre que l’environnement politique et socio-économique du pays, qu’il s’est particulièrement bien chargé de polluer depuis 40 ans avec l’ethno-fascisme et la mal gouvernance…Au point de faire des Camerounais une espèce tropicale menacée de disparition sous la pression des prédateurs de la Françafrique puis de la Chinafrique
Nous devons malheureusement reconnaître que depuis plus de quatre décennies, il y a une culture continue d’un fantasme persistant au Cameroun qui empêche le Nnôm Ngui d’être enfin soumis à la justice qu’il mérite amplement.
Chaque nouvelle crise – et il y en a beaucoup dans la politique camerounaise – offre l’espoir d’une fin rédemptrice, incontestable et sans ambiguïté au Nnôm Ngui qui conclurait ce triste chapitre de la politique camerounaise. Ce n’est jamais arrivé.
C’est juste un rappel qu’un dictateur ancré dans un profond culte de l’immortalité obscène n’a jamais à faire face à des sanctions car le fantasme ne meurt jamais de son vivant.
De plus, le Nnôm Ngui et sa légion de conspirateurs sont désormais experts dans l’art de la propagande. Leurs astuces sont douloureusement familières : ils savent comment discréditer l’opposition légitime, contrôler les médias, désavouer les faits, inventer des réalités alternatives. Il y a toujours des ennemis de l’État des distractions et des intrigues secondaires déroutantes pour nous faire oublier les faits de base accablants et l’incompétence endémique de ce régime.
Il n’y a peut-être pas de punition adaptée à tous les actes répréhensibles du Nnôm Ngui, mais il n’échappera pas à son horloge biologique et en tant que punition, c’est assurément le cas.

C’est en effet ainsi la France entretient, à travers des audiences sans substance accordées à son ambassadeur par un dictateur sénile, l’illusion d’un pouvoir encore effectivement exercé par ce dernier au Cameroun …Même si tout atteste le contraire…

Fantasy and Accountability in Yaoundé

Each new crisis—and there were many in Cameroonian politics—offered the hope of some redemptive, indisputable, unambiguous end to the Nnom Ngui that would conclude this sorry chapter in Cameroonian politics. It never happened.
It is just a reminder that a dictator embedded in a deep cult of obscene immortality never has to face any sanctions because the fantasy never dies while he still alive.
More, the Nnom Ngui and his legion of conspirators are experts by now at the art of propaganda. The playbook is achingly familiar: they know how to discredit the legitimate opposition, control the media, disavow the facts, invent alternative realities. There are always enemies of the state and distractions and confusing subplots to make us forget about the damning basic facts and incompetence of this regime.
There may not be a punishment fit for all the Nnom Ngui’s wrongdoing, but he will not escape his biological clock and as a punishment it surely is.
