Les maîtres de l’autodestruction: Lendemains de hold-up électoral au Cameroun
Il est incroyable qu’une personne qui vient de remporter une élection avec plus de 71% des suffrages place immédiatement tout son pays sous la loi martiale. En effet, passé le faux semblant de pluralisme politique toléré par la dictature pendant la campagne présidentielle, les vrais opposants se terrent à nouveau pour pouvoir s’adresser à leurs partisans. L’imposture démocratique a été une fois de plus (et de trop) avalisée par certains partenaires étrangers, au premier desquels la France.
C’est le résultat flagrant d’un régime qui ne croit pas en la négociation et au compromis institutionnel. Justement, un régime qui a des problèmes ataviques avec la notion d’adversaire politique légitime et se préoccupee uniquement d’octroyer des labels « amis » et « ennemi » à tout vent et de façon irresponsable. En fait, Paul Biya est devenu un grand disciple du maître Chinois Sun Tzu et de son « Art de la guerre » qui consiste à nettoyer le champ de bataille politique des « ennemis » par le biais d’accusations de corruption ou d ‘ »outrage » proférées à l’encontre du président, qui est une personne inviolable et sacrée, même dans une « démocratie ».
En conséquence, la création d’un système pervers, une dystopie dirigée par un « prophète » obsédé par sa propre immortalité obscène et régnant sur une ère qui opère à partir de l’autoritarisme et du mantra l’État c’est moi, la cruauté, l’irrationalité et la dégradation humaine.
Un monde de démission cognitive où le personnage principal du régime est le Tonton Macoute, milice privée sous l’ordre direct du président. Un processus de radicalisation s’apparentant à la radicalisation religieuse où le tonton macoute devient un fanatique du « prophète » et n’est plus en mesure de penser correctement, devient donc un « Eichmann » et ce que Hannah Arendt appelle « la banalité du mal ». La radicalisation implique le sens d’un élan vers l’avant – sur plusieurs fronts. L’homme sans but gagne un but. L’homme seul gagne une communauté. L’homme ignorant devient illuminé. À la fin du processus, le véritable radical voit le monde de manière si différente – et filtre l’information au travers d’un prisme aussi déformé – qu’il nous est impossible d’appliquer une quelconque analyse conventionnelle à sa façon de voir le monde.
Une organisation de défense des droits de l’Homme telle que la CL2P sera toujours debout pour défendre la santé mentale et la liberté, plutôt que de suivre le culte du parti-État RDPC: un culte moralement démuni avec ses Tonton Macoutes, qui se soucient peu du pays mais cherchent seulement à s’accrocher et à s’éterniser au pouvoir, puis à « purifier » le pays des soi-disant « opposants / ennemis » politiques.
Retenons une fois pour toutes que le Cameroun n’est pas Biya et Biya n’est pas le Cameroun. Il existe au Cameroun et dans la diaspora un nombre impressionnant de personnes intelligents, matures, raisonnables, et équilibrées qui sont horrifiées par les dommages causés par Biya et ses « créatures » à notre société.
Nous devons tous constamment nous rappeler que ce qu’il faut au mal pour s’épanouir, c’est que les braves gens restent à la tâche et ne fassent rien. En effet, la passivité et l’ignorance engendrent l’impuissance.

The Masters of Self destruction: On the Aftermath of electoral hold-up in Cameroon
It is unbelievable that a person who just won an election with more than 71% of the vote is putting his own country under martial law at the same time. More to the point, after the false semblance of political pluralism tolerated by the dictatorship during the presidential campaign, the real opponents are hiding again to be able to address their supporters:

Consequently, the making of a perverse system, a dystopia lead by a “prophet” obsessed with his own obscene immortality and reigning over an era of that operates on authoritarianism, cruelty, irrationality and human degradation.
A world of cognitive resignation where the titular figure of the regime is the Tonton Macoute which is a private militia under the direct order of the president. A process of radicalization akin to religious radicalization where the tonton macoute becomes a fanatic of the “prophet” and no longer able to think properly, therefore, comes to act as an “Eichmann” and what Hannah Arendt calls the “banality of evil.” Radicalization involves the sense of forward momentum — along several fronts. The purposeless man gains a purpose. The lonely man gains a community. The ignorant man becomes enlightened. By the end of the process, the true radical sees the world so differently — and filters news through such a warped prism — that we can’t apply any kind of conventional analysis to the way he views the world.
Human right organization such as the CL2P will always be there advocating and speaking up for sanity and freedom rather than falling in line like the morally devoid CPDM’s party and its Tonton Macoute which care not about the country seeking only to remain in power and “cleanse” the country of so called political “opponents/enemies.”
Indeed, Cameroon is not Biya and Biya is not Cameroon. There are enormous numbers of intelligent, mature, reasoned, and balanced people in Cameroon and in the diaspora who are horrified at the damage Biya and his cronies are doing to our society.
We all have to be constantly reminded that what it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to stand by and do nothing. Indeed, passivity and ignorance breed powerlessness.
