A toutes et tous les patriotes de la diaspora qui se sont mobilisés comme jamais avant dans notre histoire depuis la proclamation des résultats iniques de l’élection présidentielle du 7 octobre dernier; tous les Camerounais de l’intérieur et de l’étranger qui se sont engagés courageusement à nos côtés dans le cadre du PNR (Plan National de Résistance) le weekend écoulé ; vous qui Samedi dernier et depuis les berges du Wouri avez fait vibrer Douala et le Cameroun, par vos actes pacifiques et courageux; vous de la diaspora Camerounaise qui depuis votre séjour en terre étrangère avez joint vos voix et vos pas à ceux des compatriotes de Douala ; vous, résistants d’obédience chrétienne catholique romaine de Yaoundé qui, sur l’esplanade de la Cathédrale Notre Dame, dans le silence, le recueillement, la prière, et de façon pacifique, avez communié ce dimanche dernier avec l’idéal de quête de la vérité appliquée à l’élection présidentielle du 07 Octobre 2018 ; vous qui, pour avoir apporté votre soutien et votre compassion à ces résistants embastillés, avez vous-même fait les frais d’une arrestation arbitraire, vous êtes des héroïnes et des héros dont le courage force l’admiration et conforte notre détermination à résister à l’arbitraire et à l’oppression. Aussi, je condamne avec la plus vive énergie le piétinement de vos libertés et de vos droits par des forces réfractaires à la Vérité, au Droit et à la Justice, et vous assure de mon constant attachement dans ce combat.
Vous avocats et autres personnes de bonne volonté qui vous êtes spontanément mobilisés pour assurer la défense de ceux dont le combat en faveur du Droit et de la justice a conduit à la détention, entendez dans ma voix l’expression de ma gratitude patriotique à votre égard.
Restons mobilisés car la résistance nationale se poursuit !

To all the patriots of the diaspora who mobilized themselves as never before in our history since the proclamation of the unfair results of the presidential election of October 7; to all Cameroonians at home and abroad who have courageously been committed to this struggle of the National Resistance Plan (NRP) the past weekend; to those of you, who last Saturday and from the banks of River Wouri made Douala and Cameroon vibrate, by your peaceful and courageous acts; to the Cameroonian diaspora who from your stay in foreign land have joined your voices and your footsteps to those of the compatriots of Douala; to the protesters of the Roman Catholic Community of Yaoundé who, on the esplanade of Our Lady Cathedral, in silence, meditation, prayer, and in a peaceful manner, were in total fellowship last Sunday with the ideal to seek the truth of the presidential election of October 7, 2018; to those who brought their support and compassion to the imprisoned protesters, you were able to bear the cost of their arbitrary arrest, you have become heroes and your courage commands admiration, which by every way strengthens our determination to resist arbitrary arrest and oppression. Also, I strongly and vigorously condemn the squashing of your liberties and your rights by the forces against Truth, Law and Justice and I assure you of my unflinching commitment to this struggle.
To the lawyers and other people of good will who have spontaneously mobilized to defend those whose fight for freedom and justice led to their detention, hear in my voice the expression of my patriotic gratitude towards you.
Let’s stay mobilized because the national resistance continues!
